About Our Foundation
The Association for the Education of Sub-Saharan Children (TAESC) has been working hard with the help of our members and volunteers to help bring quality early education to the sub-saharan region. Our first project is underway in Gao, Mali - where instability has left many families struggling to provide education to their young. Our work is dedicated to funding and delivering safe environments for young children to receive quality education. Get in touch to learn how you can help make a difference alongside the TAESC.

How We Help
It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference

We Build the Schools
We create a SAFE, CLEAN, and FRIENDLY environment for the children to learn. We acquire land, plan, fund, and construct a compound and classrooms for the children and community to use.

We Provide Resources
We not only care for and teach the children, we also provide school supplies, support administrative staff, and most importantly provide each child a meal everyday! The correlation between proper nutrition and ability for children to stay focused in school is evident (read blog post). We want to make sure our little scholars are ready each day to learn!

We Do More Than Teach
Outside of school hours, we plan to provide reading and writing, trade, entrepreneurship, and other skills to the mothers in the community to give them earning potential and more independence. The compound will also serve as a safe space for uplifting community gatherings.
